24. Safe

– It’s okay. You got scared. I get that, Ilari tries to confort Venla as he takes his coat off and wraps it around her shoulders . She's still shaking.  Tears roll down her cheeks and panicked look hasn't gone away.
-I’m gonna  take you home now. Where do you live? Ilari helps Venla to her feet. Between sobs and cries Ilari manages to find out they live on same stairway. -Right. Can you walk?  They try some steps. Venla's legs has turned numb, they fumble and she almost falls. Ilari grunts.
– This is taking too long, he says and lifts Venla up and carries her in. -Like it or not.
.
Moments later Ilari stares at the door. The door next to his. It's coming together now. Panicked cries that kept him alerted and feeling helpless, and on the other hand those sweet moans of pleasure that disturbed him in diffirent way. It was Venla all along. Nametag on the door says Kilpi. Venla Kilpi. He should have realized that sooner.

It's strange to move in someone else's apartment and try to find your way there. Lightswitch, layout of the apartment or even where to find basic stuff. Ilari finds eventually what he's looking for and brings a glass of water and blanket. Lucky doesn’t leave Venla’s side who's already dozing. It knows it isn't over yet.
– Right. To whom I could call to? Your family? Tanja? You shouldn't be alone now, Ilari continues handling the situation.
-There's no one now, Venla says without opening her eyes.
-Where's Tessa? Ilari asks, realizes there's no kid anywhere. Only toys. Uh, this could have been much more worse if there was a little child alone and her mother was trapped in greenhouse. -Why, with her dad? Venla looks so lost. She keeps dozing.
-I think I should leave soon. You need to rest, Ilari is about to rise from the couch.
-No, please! Venla cries aloud and graps hold of Ilari's arm and her fingers dug in deep. He can see panic rising again. -Don't leave me alone! I don't want to be alone!
 – Ok. Ok. I'm not leaving then. Ilari does what he sees natural. He pulls Venla close and she draws herself small like a little child in his arms.
