50. What did I do?

Venla has just started to clean her greenhouse, when Lucky leaps happily towards her and makes joyfully whines. 

- Oh you, Venla chuckles and tries to pet excited dog. It seems overjoyed at seeing her. 

– Hey, Ilari says and Venla feels nervous.

 - Hey you too, she replies with quiet voice. 

– You just disappeared the last time, Ilari says. 

– I didn't feel well, Venla tries to avoid straight eye contact. 

– I could have taken you back home? Ilari reminds and Venla furrows. – Did I say or do something to offend you? He continues. Venla shakes her head and they fall into uncomfortable silence.

Lucky is still begging attention from her and dances a little around her. They both look at it and it makes Venla to smile little. 

- You know, he really likes you, Ilari says, dead serious and lockes his eyes with Venla. 

– I… like him too, Venla says after moment of silence and can't turn her eyes from Ilari's. 

- Looks like you've become very important to him. 

- So. You need a hand here? Ilari asks and nods towards the greenhouse. 

– I planned to put fairylights to it. To help getting thru the dark season, Venla stammers. She's confused. They weren't talking about the dog and they both know it.

– Ok. I'll help, Ilari takes hands out of his pockets. – Just say where you want them. Venla is still reserved but gives him his orders. They work together, Ilari puts the lights up and Venla cleans the rest of the greenhouse. 

– Satisfied? Ilari asks when they look what they have done. Venla nods 

- Quite good teamwork, she thinks aloud. 

- Agreed. Ilari says and looks Venla again. – What are you doing later today? 

– I don't know, Venla replies. 

– What about movie night? I have better, bigger screen so would you come to my place? 

– Hmm? Venla isn't sure yet. 

– I know, there's no thunderstorms in this time of year but there will be hard rain. 

- I'm okay with that. Venla says and wonders what Ilari is trying. 

– Anyway, I thought… nah. Just spend some time together? Just a movie and chill? Venla looks down, thinks it trough and when she lifts her eyes, she's smiling. 

- Okay. I'm in. 

– Great. See you soon. Ilari returns smile to Venla.
