Another day at work that felt like a year. Funny. Iiro used to love his work. Ok, not love. Graphic designing is fun when you are able to do your own projects but this time customer is unable to decide and is complete idiot. He can't wait to get that assigment out of his hands.
Iiro has spend lot of time in his favourite bar lately. They had good choice of beers, played his kind of music and was quiet enough. He had time for himself and his thoughts.
Would he be brave enough to send a text to Venla? He should go back once more, despite of his brother being there (having good time with her) and try to talk to her.
No. Not today. So he concentates hating himself over a beer.
- Ok. I’m leaving now! Female voice says from another end of bar.
– Heading for yhe gym again? The bartender says.
– Ha ha, you know where to find me! The girl says and throws her backpack over her shoulder. – It’s leg day. See you in thursday!
Iiro looks after her. She looked somehow familiar. Like he would have met her somewhere before, but can’t remember. Maybe some old one night stand? Impossible to remember, there's so many of them. Well, who cares?
Ilari is getting back home, eh back to Venla's, when he notices Maire Hurskainen in hallway. He gets vary and agitated just in sight of her. Venla's interrogation back when granny was here wasn't Bertta's idea. He's sure of that.
- Mr Sydänmaa, creaky voice says.
- Evening, he grunts and heads for the door.
- Has something happened to Ms. Kilpi? I haven't seen her for weeks, she demands to know. Ilari takes a deep breath.
- There was a surgery and she's recovering from it, he gives as little info as he thinks is sufficient for her to just go away.
- Isn't it sweet that she has so good friend to help her out, Ms. Hurskainen fakes a smile. - The whole house can hear how thankful she is too.
Ilari drops on his tracks. Damn how he hated that stalker.
- Well, you better buy a life since it's not stopping any time soon, he shrugs and throws politeness from the door.
