S2 30. Curse of the Final paper

The bar feels empty. Iiro plays with his beer and looks around. There’s some other people, Henkka is behind the counter, but something’s missing.
– Is Oona on vacay or something? He finally dares to ask.
– Yeah. Took couple weeks off to get her final paper done. Howcome?
– Nevermind. Iiro sits down. He has so used to see her there the place doesn’t feel the same without Oona’s slashing tongue and her witty remarks. They have had many good conversations lately. Mostly about music and movies, but deeper analyses of modern world. but it’s been fun altogether.
- Madde, please! Oona barks up after Madde have been repeatedly sat down, jumped up again, walked a little and never stopped talking. – You have any idea how hard it’s to concentrate when you run around like rabid hare?
- Ooooh, I need to talk to Peque. Come on, answer me! It's like she doesn't even hear Oona's complaint.
– Madeleine, Tomas frowns. – Calm down. I’m trying to watch a movie.
– Ok. Ok.
– I wouldn’t have come if I’d known you are so hyper again. Oona grunts.
- I’m just so exciiiiiteeeed! Things are going so well!
– Medication, hello! Have you remembered to take your pills? Oona snaps getting clearly agitated of her friends behaviour.
– Ladies. Please. The Movie. Tomas reminds.
– Whine whine, Oona mumbles under her breath.
– Sourpuss, Madde murmurs back.
- What is wrong with you? Tomas turns to look at Oona after movie has ended.
– I have a dead line!
– It’s just another dead line. You have tinkered with that paper for over year.
– I’m just stressed out, Oona huffs. – I want just some quiet time to concentrate and get it done.
– Quiet time when Madeleine is around? He looks bit tired.
 – I didn’t think that far.
– I can see that.
– How long she is going to be here?
- Hard to say. As long as she needs to get back on track?
Oona gives Tomas a long disapproving look.
– That could take forever.
– She’s my sister after all.
– She’s my friend too, but we hardly have any time together anymore.
– She just needs some time. Tomas rubs gently Oona’s ankle. – I’m going to bed soon. Are you coming?
– I think I’m going to try to get something done today.
– Good night then. Come quietly when you come to bed. I have an early flight to catch.
Oona has stared the screen and whole summary is starting to turn mushy in her head.
– Kurrr? Grey cat wakes her up from her thoughts.
– Lemmy, not now. Said cat pushes against Oona and starts to purr. – All right then. You noticed I’m feeling bad.
– Meow?
– Yes, yes. I know. You are love of my life. The best man there is. She sighs and looks at the screen. – That damn paper is ruining my life.
