S2 46. Keeping distance

- Well, well. Haven’t seen that face for a while, Oona smiles seeing Iiro.
– I’ve been stuck with my brother at his countryside house. Been building a new sauna.
– I thought you were more city person, Oona thinks. – The usual?
– Thanks! Iiro takes a bottle Oona offers him. – I’m versatile person, he explains. – I used to live in middle of nowhere before moving back to Helsinki. I’m used to get my hands dirty. I can use chainsaw for a day and paint flowers on next, he jokes.
- Well that’s a new side of you, Oona raises her brows.
– We both hold secrets then. There’s hint of bitterness on Iiro’s voice that leaves Oona wonder.
– Hmm?
– Forget it.
– So are we drawing this week? Oona tries to hide her hope for it.
– Not sure. I’m getting back to countryside tomorrow. Just letting my bro have some quality time with HER before we head back. Really don’t want to see them making out.
– That would be akward, Oona nods.
– No need to see it, Iiro takes a swig from his beer.
Oona feels unsure after Iiro left. There was something she couldn't reach. Like Iiro was holding back somehow and was more serious than before. He used to be fun to talk with but now he kept his distance.
