S2 57. Return of the redhead

- Excuse me, is this place taken?
Iiro lifts his gaze from newspaper he was reading.
– No, feel free to sit down, he says and looks at the redheaded girl. – Have we met before? She looks very familiar.

That hair…

– I’m Taika, she says her name and Iiro remembers her. – Don’t you remember me?
– Uh. I do. Hey, sorry. I was such douche last time we met, Iiro makes a face. – I felt bad and acted like jerk. Hope you don’t hate me too much.
– It’s okay I guess, Taika replys and sits down.
– You are fan of superheroes? Iiro notices wonder woman tattoo on Taika’s skin. She nods and smiles shyly. – So, more into movies or comics? Iiro smiles at her and they quickly absorbed into conversation about comics, superheroes, tattoos and movies.
- I think I’ll get a beer. I’m not so into these girly cocktails, Taika looks at her empty glass.
– So you are not just pretty face but also with a good taste, Iiro winks an eye to her. Taika smiles back at him. She’s cute. Iiro looks after her and Oona serving her behind the counter.

Oona. So close so far.

They exchange looks when Taika comes back and somehow Oona looks sad.
- Where were we? Taika asks. Iiro checks the label of the bottle and they engulf into another conversation but about craft beers this time.
– Want to leave, go outside? Taika suggests when she has emptied her bottle.
– Sounds great. I could offer you a beer and it’s much cooler there now? Iiro smiles at her.
Oona looks Iiro talking with Teresa’s redheaded friend. He flashes ”that” smile to the girl. Smile Oona isn’t completely immune herself either. It's catchy and it makes her smile faintly. At least Iiro’s clearly feeling better and getting over that girl he had so deep crush on to. It’s good to see Iiro smile after that depression he had but somehow it makes her uneasy to see him with some girl.

– They are getting along well, Teresa thinks and adjusts her green hair.
– You should tell your friend to be careful. That guy is a serious womanizer, Oona says. – Sweet guy but doesn’t stay.
– Oh good, she really needs the action! Teresa grins.
Oona isn’t so sure if she’s pleased about the reaction. Her head has been so distracted, so full of different kind of emotions, twirling, changing like a rollercoaster ride it’s impossible to get hold of it.
And when they leave Iiro turns to look at her. Not a glance or a way to signal bye. He stares straight into her eyes. Oona gives him a small smile. He returns a little (sad?) smile and nods. Then they are gone. Oona feels more uneasy.

Oh, come on girl. It’s his time to move on and forget HER who ever it is. It’s got nothing to do with you.
