-Do you want me to do a reading for you? Susanna draws a mysterious looking pack of cards.
-Yes, please!, Venla says and falls back to the couch. -That's superinteresting! Susanna shuffles her cards, does her thing and put cards to the table one by one.
– That confirms it, she says after examining those for some time. -You need to break from old habits.
–Meaning what? Venla lifts her head and tries to see cards better.
-Well,darling, Susanna sighs. -You know this already. The cards are clear. It says there's no future in relationship that only makes you feel bad. It doesn't matter if you have good sex. It isn't enough when the rest of it breaks you from inside. You may have had some dreams and hopes for it, but you are only lying to yourself and you need to admit it doesn't work.
– I didn't expect that, Venla sighs again. -I'd hoped for diffirent kind of answers.
-I know. Sometimes cards give you unpleasant news, sometimes encourage you, but you never know. But that Eetu isn't mr right..
-I know. I just wish to be loved, Venla feels disappoint. -I have so much to give, but I have nobody.
-I know. Susanna smiles. - You'll find it eventually.
- I'm so frustrated. My mom already had two children at my age. I'm still single, never had even thing I could call a real relationship. Pfft. I'm probably going to turn into a crazy catlady who dies alone and then my cats eat my dead body.
-I thought you are more of a dog person? Susanna laughs.
-Mm, true. Maybe a dozen untrained little yappies to eat my toes, Venla suggests.
-Now who's overdramatic?
- I feel I'm always the second best thing. and top of that Eetu kept insinuating I should loose weight. I didn't even think there was something wrong with me before. I thought I was ok, Venla opens her heart. Susanna puts out a long sigh.
-There’s nothing wrong with you darling .
- I don’t know anymore, Venla disagrees and Susanna shakes her head.
- Toni? She shouts out.
-Yeah? He replies from another room.
- I need backup here?
- What are you doing? Venla hisses.
- Getting you a second opinion, Susanna replies.
-Sec. Toni says and comes by. -Well?
- I need some opinions, Susanna explains. - Venla's boyfriend think she should loose weight. Toni looks his wife, then Venla and back again.
-Huh, why?
-He thinks I'm too big. Fat, Venla says and feels little akward.
-Did you hear that? Toni turns his head towards door and Venla notices Ilari standing there. -Forget that, Toni says to Venla. - Sounds you are dating some kid who doesn't realize what he's having. Venla can't help but notice Ilari's gaze scanning her from head to toe. It makes her feel uneasy.
- You have a great body, Ilari comments casually.
-Forget that and just dump him. You'll find better man in no time. Like grown up guy. Toni thinks.
-Um, I guess you are right, Venla mutters.
-Ok, we'll go now. I'll come back before morning, Toni kisses Susanna.
-Thanks, Venla mutters embarrased of this kind of spotlight.
-Have fun! Susanna kisses Toni back.
-Btw. Ilari says and looks straight to Venla and his lips twich again. -Cute knickers.
-Argh! Venla throws pillow at him. She didn't realize the view he had.
- Syde! What’s your age again! Susanna shouts after his friend when they leave laughing and cackling like crazy. - Geez sometimes I think they never grew past Sixteen.
