58. No rush

Venla puts her shirt back on and feels shy and insecure for letting her feelings loose like that. She promised herself not to be so easy and here she was going head first making initiative and all. 

- That was quite turn off, Ilari sighes and tucks his shirt into place. 

– Mm, Venla nods. – I think I’m gonna wrap something to eat, she changes the subject. Ilari takes hold of her arm and pulls her back to his arms. 

– Did you get scared? You look upset, he says and nuzzles gently Venla's neck. 

– Sorta, she admits. Damn, that feels good. 

- Hey. No rush, Ilari whispers into her ear. – Things started to escalate quite quickly. 

– No shit Sherlock, Venla says. She can feel rather than hear Ilari laughing silently behind her back.

– What about I'll hang those artworks to the wall and you figure out what we are going to eat after that? He suggests. 

– And then? Venla leans her head to Ilari.

 - We could get back to that kissing part again?

 – I kinda like that, Venla replies and Ilari kisses her neck. – And I like that too.

- What was that? Venla startles and sits upright from the couch. 

– Sounds like treebranch banging against the windows, Ilari concenrates to listen. – Yeah. It is. There's probably another storm. 

- Sounds creepy. 

- Come back here, Ilari says and tries to pull Venla back. They have spend last hour kissing passionately. 

- It really makes me nervous. Venla leans back but can't concentrate anymore. 

-Ok. It goes on all night, Ilari checks the weather report again. 

- Great. Venla rocks herself back and forth. -No sleep for me. 

- Unless you want to me to stay. 

- Stay for overnight? Venla stops and blinks. - You mean sleeping or…? 

- If you want to, Ilari says, leaves her to decide. Venla thinks for a moment.

– Is it okay? Just to sleep? 

- Would I have suggested it if it werent? 

- Guess not. But you said you couldn't sleep here? 

– We could go to my place? Ilari raised his brows.

- Mhmm. Venla gives it a thought.

- I need to take Lucky out soon. You need anything? 

- I'll gather my stuff. she finally agrees.
